Suspended License and Restoration
Restore Your Suspended Driver's License
The attorneys at Weinberg Law know that losing your driver’s license can be the harshest part of a drunk driving conviction. Losing your license is damaging to your work, your family and most of all, your freedom.
After a DUI arrest, you typically have only 14 days to file for an Implied Consent hearing. The lawyers at Weinberg Law have helped thousands of people in your exact situation, and we will help you.
If you are driving on a suspended license or a revoked license because of drunk driving, stop driving immediately. We can help get your license back so you can drive legally again. Contact us right away.
At the end of the revocation period for a suspended license, it is NOT automatic to have your license reinstated. The Driver’s License Appeal Division (DLAD) must be petitioned and a hearing will take place to prove that the driver is no longer a habitual drinker. If denied, we can appeal.
The type of license issued is completely at the discretion of the hearing officer, based on evidence. If a full license cannot be restored, we can attempt a work permit license during a temporary suspension period.
